Delta Communications – Who are we?
In 1993 we saw the opening of Delta Communications. Terrence, the founding member of Delta Communications, noticed there was a market for reliable and efficient Two-Way Radio Communications at affordable prices. Dedication and hard work has provided the foundation of Delta Communications giving us an edge over our competitors. We have based our Company on courteous, efficient and professional service to our customers.
Terrence completed his apprenticeship on the South African Railways, Transnet, and qualified as a Communications Radiotrician. Experience was also obtained from working within the private sector, the South African Police Services (S.A.P.S.) Radio Workshop and then with LASSCO, a logistics and system support company within Barlows Communications (Barcom).
Delta Communications is an ICASA approved Radio Dealer and holds an ICASA Radio Dealer certificate. Our ICASA licence numbers are 452-122-0 and 518-524-8.
Terrence is a proud member of the South African Radio League (S.A.R.L.) operating the call sign ZS5E.
Delta Communications is also listed as a preferred Radio Dealer by the Off Road Radio Association (O.R.R.A.) Radio Dealer No: RD 45 with the ICASA authorised call signs ZUS 2761 (VHF) and ZRF 430 (29Mhz).
The Off Road Radio Association (O.R.R.A.) is a service focus group of the Association of All Wheel Drive Clubs of Southern Africa (A.A.W.D.C.).

Delta Communications is a dynamic Company concentrating on excellence of both service and product. Our workshop is equipped with the latest calibrated test instruments and computer programming stations. The workshop is manned on a 24 hour basis to handle all emergency and after hours calls.
Our labour rate is extremely competitive within the radio industry and all repairs undertaken will not be repaired without prior authorization.
We offer a comprehensive range of radio communications in the PTT range of SIM card radios on the GSM Networks, as well as conventional VHF/UHF and Mid Band analogue and digital radios. With our extensive range of Communal Radio Repeaters conveniently situated in Durban and surrounding suburbs as well as incorporating North and South Coast, Pietermaritzburg, and outlying areas, we offer cost effective communication coverage to suit individual customer requirements.
